The 4th Annual Capitol Ford Santa Fe International Half Marathon expands into a three-day festival of racing, wellness, and culture. Events include a USATF-certified Half Marathon, relays, a 4K Fitness Run/Walk, a free Kids-K dash, and the Health & Wellness Expo.

• Abraham Kosgei – Race Director, former elite Kenyan runner, and founder of Mwangaza Athletics Club

• Gasali Adeyemo – Yoruba artist & race shirt designer; leads Kids-K cultural Indigo Race T-shirt making program at Expo

• Tricia Downing – Elite wheelchair racer, Paralympic shooting team athlete, and disability advocate. She represented Team USA at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, has competed in over 100 races including marathons and triathlons, and was the first female paraplegic to complete an Ironman triathlon. Come and cheer her on as she tackles the Half Marathon alongside athletes of all abilities.

WHY IT MATTERS

• Public Safety Relays: Teams compete head-to-head for the coveted Public Safety Trophy, currently held by the reigning champion, City of Santa Fe Fire Department.
• Cultural Exchange: Kids-K program features storytelling and an indigo dye workshop by Gasali Adeyemo.
• Community Impact: Event proceeds benefit the Kitany Water Project in Kenya, providing clean water to schools and clinics.

Kids-K & Family Activities – Santa Fe Railyard

Bring the whole family for a weekend of running, culture, wellness, and fun! All Kids-K activities are free and include T-shirts for participants. Families can enjoy workshops, drumming, races, and interactive cultural experiences.
