Railyard “Off the Beaten Path” Food Tour

The original tour aptly named “Off the Beaten Path” focused on the once up-and-coming Railyard Arts District.  This neighborhood was where “tomorrow’s Santa Fe” is now emerging, and exploding into the hippest, trendiest neighborhood in town. Not to mention the home to the infamous Santa Fe Farmers’ Market, honored many times over as one of the top 10 destination Farmers’ Markets in the country.

You’ll get to meet many of the chefs, owners, distillers, farmers and craftsmen who have been and are still are shaping that future.

As with all of our tours, what brings this tour to life is the stories behind the venues, new and old, we will visit. You’ll learn about how the railroad redefined the American Southwest, and how a defunct rail yard became the home to a booming center of arts and culture. We will also have a chance to explore some of the hidden corners of Santa Fe, learning about how the city has evolved over the last century and where it is heading into the next one.
