Vanna Curated Living – Lisa Jensen in conversation with Julia Leonard

Our second salon will take place Friday, April 24th from 5–7 pm, featuring sculptor and lighting designer Lisa Jensenin conversation with local author and interviewer Julia Leonard, held at our Railyard Gallery located at 530 S Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM. Conversation begins at 5:30, with space to arrive and linger after.

Lisa Jensen’s work moves across ceramics, light, and textiles, exploring the relationship between structure and softness, precision and play. Her coil-built clay vessels echo the female form. Her lanterns draw the sky closer to earth, holding and releasing light in equal measure.

After decades as a costume designer in the film industry, Lisa now works from her studio in El Guique, New Mexico, creating across materials including clay, fiber, paper, wood, and metal. Each piece carries a sense of touch, movement, and form shaped by a lifetime of making.

These evenings are an invitation to slow down, to listen, and to experience the stories and processes behind the work in a shared, conversational setting.
