Focusing on symbolism, Stedham deftly blurs the boundaries of reality within her depictions of Western landscapes. This innovative modernist perspective transcends the literal, offering viewers a glimpse into her inner world. In this upcoming series “West: Real, Imaged,” Stedham masterfully weaves Western iconography throughout her work, inviting viewers to introspect on their own histories and unearth new memories.
